Instead of the humdrum honey cake recipes, see what\u2019s cooking at the Dan Gourmet cooking school:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Honeymoon<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Cream of almonds, cider mascarpone cream, apple and cider jelly, <\/em><em>topped with whipped caramel spaghetti<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ingredients for the Base:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>500 g flour<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>300 g soft butter at room temperature<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>120 g eggs (4 large eggs)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>60 g ground almonds<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>190 g Icing sugar<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Half a stick of vanilla (broken into chips)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Few pinches of salt<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Preparation:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Mix butter and Icing sugar until smooth.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Add the ground almonds and stir, add vanilla stick chips, salt and eggs, and stir.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Add flour and stir until well mixed.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Place the dough (wrapped in nylon) in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Roll out the dough to 2 mm thickness, place in ring and bake blind. (It&#8217;s best to place in the freezer before baking.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>For Mascarpone Cream and Cider<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>250 g cider, reduce to 180 cubic cm<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>For cider anglaise:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>280 g sweet cream 38%<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>180 g reduced cider<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>80 g yolk (4 or 5 yolks)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>4 g gelatin + 20 g water<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>250 g cider anglaise<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>165 g mascarpone cheese<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Preparation:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Prepare the cider anglaise the day before it is needed, and place in fridge.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The next day, whip the cider anglaise and mascarpone cheese, and roll into balls up to 2\/3cm height.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>For Apple and Cider Jelly<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>5 g gelatin + 25 g water<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>200 g apple juice<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>25 g sugar<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Tablespoon of cubed apples<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Stir gelatin and water and set aside<strong>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Heat apple juice and sugar; put gelatin in the hot liquid, and stir until well mixed.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Pour into silicon baking dish, put apple cubes into the mixture, and freeze<strong>.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Whipped Caramel Spaghetti<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>240\u00a0\u00a0g brown sugar<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>810g \u00a0\u00a0sweet cream\u00a0 &#8211; Heat in pot<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>8\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 grams gelatin + 40 g water<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Preparation:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Put water and gelatin in bowl, mix, and set aside until needed<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Cook sugar in pot until caramelized.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Gradually add the hot cream and stir.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Add the gelatin, stir, and place in refrigerator (preferably all night).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Before using, lightly whip into apple cream.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Put in Ziploc bag with strands of spaghetti.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>For decoration<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Meringue kisses<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Dried apple pieces<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We hope this will bring a great wow factor for your guests around your dinner table and wish you all a very sweet, happy and healthy New Year.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.danhotels.com\/IsraelHotels\">Israel reccomended Hotels<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.danhotels.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG-20150902-WA0003.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox-1\" role=\"button\" aria-haspopup=\"dialog\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-917 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.danhotels.com\/Blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG-20150902-WA0003.jpg\" alt=\"Traditional Jewish cuisine\" width=\"758\" height=\"500\" data-id=\"917\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With Rosh Hashannah fast approaching, we thought we\u2019d share with you some ideas for ensuring of a sweet new year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":920,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-914","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-culinary","cities-tel-aviv"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.6 -
