January 2006: The ”Dan Lounges” are owned and managed by the Dan Hotel Chain and QAS.
The lounges, situated close to the shops in the center of the terminal, and a short distance from the departure points are comfortable, elegant and stylish with seating capacity of up to 320 people. The “Dan Lounges” are divided into seating areas allowing travelers a feeling of privacy, and comfortable armchairs are scattered around - some situated on an elevated parquet platform for better viewing. The glass walls provide passengers with good views of take-off and landing of aircraft. The hospitality service includes a snack bar, soft and hot drinks, wine, spirits and beer. Refreshments are changed throughout the day according to the time of day. Next to the well-stocked buffet is a seating area with tables close to the glass wall that overlooks the runway. Within the lounge there is a private room styled in a superb and unique design with a glass wall that overlooks the runway. This room is designated for V.I.P. guests. In addition, the lounges are equipped with computer stations and wireless internet connections for laptops. A large variety of reading matter is available including magazines and daily newspapers and each lounge has three flat screen televisions that will be broadcasting a variety of programs and news throughout the day and night. The lounges are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Entrance is for foreign airline company’s First Class and Business Class passengers as per the agreement on the airline ticket. Please check your ticket for more details. Note: El Al Israel Airlines has its own separate lounge.
