Dan Carmel: Breathtaking Panorama

The new suites at the Dan Carmel offer the ultimate experience: the highest level of hospitality overlooking a breathtaking panorama from the privacy of your own balcony.

2013 is the year of the Dan Carmel: 50 years ago, it was built on the ridge of the Carmel – a 10-story hotel with 250 rooms, unanimously voted the first luxury hotel in the city of Haifa. The jubilee celebration is the perfect time to create the link between the splendid historic past and the desire to march forward in step with time, as the results now clearly show, with the completion of the reconstruction and refurbishment of all the guest rooms and first and foremost – the luxury suites. “What we have done here is truly revolutionary,” says Adi Maor, General Manager of the Haifa region Dan hotels, “we have thought of every single detail and spared no expense, because a renovation on this scale is not something you undertake every day.”

The luxurious new suites offer hospitality that integrates the very latest in deluxe styling together with architectural planning that gives you an exceptional view of the breathtaking vistas from the private balconies attached to each suite. Guests looking for the perfect uncompromising answer to their high expectations may choose from five types of suites at different levels, ranging from an inviting 60m2 single-space studio to the largest 142m2 Royal Suite – the latest word in regal luxury. All the suites have plenty of space for relaxation and hosting a roomy, pampering bathroom with a TV embedded mirror, a spacious bedroom with designer bed facing the spectacular view rather than a wall, and comfortable accessories all make for an unmatched and truly pleasurable experience.

Particularly exceptional is the roomy, modern Presidential Suite, which covers 112m2, each meter carefully taken advantage of to create the key concept; view, view, view! The suite was purposely built at the far end of the tenth and highest floor to show off the panorama in every direction – and what you can see from there, you certainly can’t see from anywhere else: the bay, the shoreline stretching down to Zichron Yaakov, the Carmel touching the sea shore over here, the Golan heights and snow-capped peak of Mt. Hermon over there, and on a clear day you can even see Lebanon on the horizon…..

But it is not only the view that gives the Presidential Suite its added value – the interior design is grand in its own right, or in other words – everything is grand: a large living room offering a warm classic modern ambience with an electric fireplace that simulates leaping flames and a mirror that takes up an entire wall and at the flip of a switch turns into a 50” TV complete with DVD and multimedia connections; a sleeping area with a walk-in closet and a king-size bed from which you can see the sea and the Carmel everywhere you turn; a large, beautifully appointed bathroom, a sitting area and a work area, fully equipped with an espresso machine, a sound system and other state-of-the-art technologies.

“The new suites now equal the highest international standards,” concludes Adi Maor, “they cater to a niche market that has no other alternative in this area, and this reestablishes the Dan Carmel as the most luxurious hotel in the north”.
