TIMNA PARK

Timna Park, a geological wonderland north of Eilat in the Arava Desert, offers marvelous scenery, natural formations such as Solomon's Pillars, remains of ancient cultures, images carved into stone and more. "Mines of Time", an exciting multimedia presentation, will take you back in time to where ancient Egyptians mined copper.

JEEP TREKS

The area surrounding the city of Eilat is known for the incredible beauty of the desert and mountains. Take a guided jeep tour to breathtaking sites such as the Red Canyon or Solomon's Valley with a view of the mountains of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt, and continue on to the springs of Ein Netafim.

IMAX THEATRE

The IMAX 3D movie theatre, located in the massive blue pyramid in the center of town, is within walking distance from the hotels on the north beach. The comfortable and spacious seats at the pyramid are each designed as the best in the house with an ideal vantage point. Wheelchair access is available; the location is kosher, is open on Fridays until the Sabbath and reopens on Saturday evenings.

THE EILAT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

This important and prestigious cultural event, established in 2003 and held annually, focuses on quality films the world over, Israeli premieres, and more. The festival hosts a variety of workshops and related events and is attended by celebrities of the film industry.

THE RED SEA JAZZ FESTIVAL

Established in 1987, this four day international festival is held during the last week of August. The Red Sea Jazz Festival hosts world famous jazz performers, young artists and Israeli groups. An unforgettable experience with nine concerts per evening, clinics with guest artists and nightly jam sessions.

KINGS CITY

Kings City, a biblical theme park, was built in 2005 for a $40 million investment. Resembling a royal palace, the park is divided into four areas and includes a journey back to ancient Egypt, a tour of the cave of illusions, a visit to a cave with bible scenes carved into the walls and a boat ride through King Solomon's waterfalls while hearing the story of King Solomon.
