The Ashkelon Khan & Museum
This ancient Arab hotel is now the home of Ashkelon’s free history museum—featuring archaeological finds spanning the city’s 5,000 year history. The art gallery displays local artists. Don’t miss the replica of Ashkelon’s famous Canaanite silver calf—a discovery that merited front-page coverage in the New York Times.

Ashkelon beach
The 10 kilometer-long Ashkelon beach features restaurants, pubs, sports facilities and heated swimming pools, the "Ashkeluna" water amusement park, two country clubs, an amphitheater, a tennis club, museums, cinemas, bowling alleys, fishing spots, and bathing beaches equipped with all the necessary amenities.
A leisurely stroll on the marina past splendid yachts and docks, also includes inviting coffee shops and pubs open all day and most of the night. At the official opening of the marina a decade ago, it was pronounced an international port for shipping and tourism.

Hamei Yoav Hot Springs
The water at Hamei Yoav is rich in minerals and sulfur and is beleived to have natural healing properties, which are especially beneficial for people who suffer from problems in their joints, back, etc. The thermo mineral pools are also a luxurious way to relax and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Ashkelon Marina
The Ashkelon Marina is one of the largest and most beautiful in Israel, with a capacity of 600 boats in water depth of 4m - 6m. Located between two beaches: "Delila" and "Bar-Kochba", on the golden sands of Ashkelon. The Marina is well known in the yachting community as a center for International rallies and regattas.
National Park & Archaeology
The park shelters some of ancient Ashkelon's most impressive ruins. Massive fortified ramparts from biblical times run all the way around the park. Excavations in progress have unearthed remarkable finds. Among the most notable is a Canaanite silver calf that is clearly linked to the biblical tale of the golden calf, and actual Philistine streets. The park includes an ancient basilica with a splendid archaeological sculpture garden displaying a thrilling selection of exhibits. Follow trails to a Byzantine and Crusader church, and countless other vestiges from the past. The park also boasts an amphitheater for outdoor performances.
