Meeting of International Bloggers at Dan Panorama Jerusalem

Meeting of International Bloggers at Dan Panorama Jerusalem Embracing the blogosphere – this week the Dan Jerusalem hotel hosted a delegation of leading bloggers who have thousands of monthly readers worldwide. They arrived in Israel as part of the Once in a Lifetime project created by a group of students from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and the University of Haifa and the Stand With Us organization. For us, participation in this project is of extreme importance in portraying Israel accurately throughout the world and as a result improving Israel's image.

On Sunday, the bloggers convened for an engaging evening with interesting Israeli personalities at the Dan Panorama Jerusalem that was organized by the Dan Hotels Corp. and the Stand With Us organization. As part of their program – the bloggers enjoyed a lovely reception by the hotel's General Manger, a delectable meal and viewing a video with highlights of the bloggers' experiences in Israel.
Among the Israeli guests were Noy Alooshe (Zenga Zenga song creator), Amos Horev (President of the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and former IDF major-general); Yonatan Winetraub from Space IL, the Israeli organization participating in the Google lunar race contest; Daniel Zonshein – Director of the Foreign Ministry's public diplomacy department; Shmuel Zurel, GM of the Israeli Hotel Association; Gilad Emilio Shenker – creator and director of the short film "Lavan" (White) and won best director award at the Washington film festival among other awards; and many others.
At the end of the evening the bloggers conveyed their thanks and said that they enjoyed it immensely and then continued on to their guided tour to the Western Wall Tunnels.
