Jose Feliciano in Dan Tel-Aviv
Singer/guitarist Jose Feliciano, one of the most prominent Latin-born performers of the pop era, checked into the beachfront Dan Tel Aviv this weekend in preparation for his live concerts. The performer who has earned over 45 gold and platinum albums during his career and been nominated 16 times for a Grammy award (winning 6 times) was accommodated in one of the hotel's most luxurious suites. Special treats were provided for him as per earlier requests, including some oranges which he asked me - to give him 'a special Israeli feeling.'
Upon his return to the hotel after the first concert, Jose declared that he was very happy and excited – thanks to the warm welcome he received from the audience, and that he was looking forward to the next one!
Feliciano left the hotel on Monday morning with the promise that he would return one day soon.
