Dan Hotels wins best service award for 2006
Tel Aviv, Israel, 9th January 2007: Dan Hotels Israel, the country’s largest luxury hotel chain was named last night as the Best Service Provider in Israel for 2006, out of twenty-three sectors and leading industries.
The year long survey of Service industries was conducted by Marketest in collaboration with Globes Newspaper, Israel’s prime economic newspaper and Israel Discount Bank Ltd.
Dan Hotels achieved the highest marks of 8.9 for service with a record of 98% satisfaction and willingness to recommend stays at Dan hotels to friends and relatives. The survey carried out by Markettest is based on international survey standards set by ACSI – the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
In ACSI’s recent survey for 2006 the highest score achieved by Hilton International was 7.8 – therefore Dan Hotels’ score of 8.9 marks a significant achievement on an International scale. Mr. Oded Shay, President of Markettest stated: “Dan Hotels is one of the top achievers worldwide, with the highest combined score given by clients who stayed at the hotels recently. Compared to 11 leading chains in North America, the 8.9 scored by the Dan Corporation is the highest.”
President of the Dan Hotels, Mr. Ami Hirschstein remarked at the ceremonial event that: “Providing excellent service to our guests is of utmost importance throughout the chain. All our employees are trained never to say no to any request and to not only find a solution but to provide the guest with a service “beyond customer expectation”. That is the meaning of good service!”
