Dan Tel Aviv Welcomes Al Gore
Former Vice President of the USA, Al Gore arrived at the Dan Tel Aviv this week together with his wife Mary, known to all as Tipper.
Mr. Gore was in Israel to receive an award from the Dan David Foundation (headquartered at Tel Aviv University). Awards are presented annually for outstanding achievements that have scientific, technological, cultural or social impact on the world. Each year fields are chosen within the three Time Dimensions - Past, Present and Future. Al Gore was awarded the prize for his contributions to our present.
Mr. and Mrs. Gore checked into one of the hotel’s luxury suites overlooking the Mediterranean. Apart from the complimentary dressing gowns and pampering Dead Sea products, the couple also found an anniversary cake waiting for them, prepared especially by the hotel’s chef as they were celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary.
