Celebrating 10 years of the Peres Center for Peace in Dan Tel Aviv The Dan Tel Aviv hotel was delighted recently to welcome many distinguished guests who were in town to help celebrate 10 years of the Peres Center for Peace.

Hotel General Manager, Mr. Jacob Sudri commented, “We are very proud to be hosting celebrities from many walks of life who are all here to lend their support to the Peres Center.” Guests for this event occupied 250 out of the hotel’s 286 rooms including 34 luxury suites.

The impressive guest list, included, former Presidents from Poland, Peru and Cyprus, the former Foreign Minister of Turkey, Sarah Ferguson – Britain’s Duchess of York and Martin Indyk, former USA Ambassador to Israel.

The world of sport was represented by Joseph Blatter, former FIFA President, Don King the boxing promoter and a former track and field athlete from the USA – Edwin Moses as well as Ramon Calderon, the President of Spanish Sports Club – Real Madrid

Other notable names included Cristiane Amanpour, a CNN correspondent, Andrea Bocelli, the Italian opera singer and Kathleen Turner, the American film actress. Guests from the business world, included James Wolfensohn, the President of the World Bank and Guido Barilla, the Chairman and Chief Executive of Barilla Group, Italy.

The festivities took place in Tel Aviv over three days with the highlight being the inauguration of the Peres Peace House in Jaffa.

The Dan Tel Aviv, established in 1953 and accustomed to welcoming celebrities throughout its history, is known for its high standards of comfort and service and is a member of 'The Leading Hotels of the World'.
