Paul McCartney at Dan Tel Aviv Hotel
Dan Tel Aviv hotel was delighted to host Sir Paul McCartney for a three night stay when he visited Israel recently for his performance in Hayarkon Park.
McCartney and his entourage occupied most of the hotel’s 21 suites, while Paul himself stayed in the Royal Suite on the 5th floor of the hotel with a fantastic view of the sea. In preparation for Sir Paul, the hotel installed a grand piano in the suite’s living room and, after consultations with his staff, brought in some special items of food and herbs. He also found in his room a specially prepared cake, measuring one meter in diameter, of his last CD release, and a robe, hand embroidered with his name. A private butler was at his disposal 24 hours a day for the entire stay.
Sir McCartney was accompanied by his personal chef/dietitian who teamed up with the hotel’s executive chef Ovad Alfia to prepare special meals and drinks.
The suite, where McCartney stayed has in the past also welcomed President Bill Clinton together with Hillary, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) Richard Gere, Sharon Stone to name but a few.
