CNBC 2009 Best Hotels Winners The King David Jerusalem and Dan Tel Aviv hotels
The King David Jerusalem and Dan Tel Aviv hotels have won the award for the Best Hotels in Israel for 2009 in the Europe and Africa category. More than 1200 entries were judged by a panel of international professional experts in the property, design and hospitality industry.
CNBC (the TV network) conduct the competition, in association with U.K. Daily Mail, New York Times and the other 5 prestigious international media groups, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung fur Deutschland, Bangkok Post, Sydney Morning Herald/Sun Herald, Sin Chew Daily and International Homes Luxury Collection. The European Property Awards are part of the globally respected International Property Awards, which have been running for 15 years. This year the hotel and hospitality category was added for the first time.
The awards were presented in London recently at a Gala Dinner attended by hundreds of industry leaders. Mr. Rafi Baeri said of winning the award, "We're very proud of the service we provide our guests and delighted that our high level of hospitality has been recognized
